We are toying with the idea of him doing the handy pony next year,if he is still well,coz you never know when they have an illness.Regards Debbie Murden

Hi Everyone
We are new faces at Kirkby this year and new to the show circuit - despite owning horses for over 30 years and living locally (Blidworth).
I would like to say thanks to the organisers of the shows (I am Treasurer of Blidworth Riding Club - affiliated to British Riding Clubs) and I therefore know what effort and hard work you all put in - so thank you all.
My daughter and I have been made very welcome at Kirkby (and Warren) and have found everyone extremely friendly and helpful.
I am attaching a photo of my daughter, Beth Naylor, and her lovely mare Bacara in the cob class at Kirkby. They got 2nd in the beginners horse and 2nd in the exc 15hh novice WH at the open show on Sunday, and were absolutely delighted. I'm sure Bacara was grinning going over the last jump!
